Starting out with Thumanns in New Jersey, the opportunity to bring quality products to the carolina was a must for Henry Thumann and as a result; strong relationships, quality products and customer satisfaction in their products have been the cornerstone to Patco Foods success.

Thumann's History
It began with Mr. Henry Thumann’s desire to make delicious, quality, deli-meats.
Using old-family recipes that called for only the leanest cuts of meat, little salt, and no fillers or extenders he founded Thumann’s Deli Products in 1949. Since the very beginning, and to this day, Thumann's products never contain any gluten's or flavor enhancers such as MSG.
Located in Wallington, New Jersey, Thumann’s has become one of the largest, most modern and environmentally-conscious, meat-processing facilities in the east.
Thumann’s expert butchers take extra time and care to prepare each item for processing. The meat is always trimmed lean, and although the use of salt is necessary for the curing process, Thumann’s uses the least amount of salt possible, ensuring the freshest meat flavor. Many items are still handled and packaged the old fashioned way - by hand - to make sure the products are not bruised in any way.
